Somehow, birthdays have become birthweeks. Bryson's birthweek party #1 was planned to be Putt Putt golf with some friends from school. Due to the crazy downpours earlier in the week, we decided to switch to a movie. With less than half the number of kids that came to Zach's bday party, we thought this would be a cinch!
And, it pretty much was. There was some running off and chaos before and after the show, but once the kids were in their seats, with their sweet 3D glasses on and armed with plenty of snacks, they were very well-behaved. Monsters v. Aliens had a seriously weak story line, but the 3D effects were amazing.
As is becoming tradition for Bryson's birthday, we had Krispy Kreme donuts instead of cake after the show. There is a Krispy Kreme just outside the cinema! Lucky us! The kids went a little ballistic while waiting for their parents, but at least we didn't lose any children.

Taylor loved the movie, the snacks, the 3D glasses, but most of all the balloons from KK. He calls them "buh-goo."

Back home with just 2 of his friends, checking out the new gifts... The boys were totally zoned into these new Pokemon cards {apparently Aubs was needing some attention...}
